Our direction

From components to complete systems.

Riaren’s direction is to grow from specialized manufacturing into engineering, applied research, and integrated systems for defense, aerospace, energy, and federal programs. The objective is to become a preferred subcontractor for defined technical work and a prime contractor that develops original products and takes responsibility for their delivery.

Long-term direction

Development priorities.

Capability will expand in stages: establish repeatable component and assembly production, add engineering and applied research, then take on larger systems and the responsibility for integration, testing, and support.

Manufacturing & materials

Develop production capability across bare and assembled circuit boards, electronic components, wire and fiber-optic cable, wiring devices, and fabricated metal and polymer parts. Expand into machining, additive manufacturing, and surface finishing where the work justifies the equipment, process controls, and inspection capability.

Engineering & applied research

Bring electrical, mechanical, and software engineering together with applied research, prototype development, and laboratory testing. Develop measurement, control, and test capability while connecting requirements, design models, drawings, build records, and verification evidence through a consistent digital engineering approach.

Systems & aerospace

Progress toward sensing, communications, navigation, and control systems, followed by aircraft, guided-missile and space systems, propulsion, and supporting equipment. Take on larger assemblies and complete platforms as the engineering, manufacturing, integration, and test capability is established.

Program delivery & sustainment

Earn a preferred subcontractor role through reliable delivery of defined hardware and technical work. Build the ability to serve as prime contractor for original products and larger programs, coordinating suppliers, managing interfaces, and supporting equipment through production, maintenance, repair, and aviation support activities.

Growth in stages

Build capability in stages.

The starting point is electronics rework, interconnect fabrication, low-volume assembly, and technical documentation. Expansion will follow demonstrated demand, qualified processes, suitable facilities, and the ability to deliver and support the work.

These priorities describe Riaren’s long-term direction. They do not expand the current service scope or represent an existing product portfolio.
